About Dr. Michelle Brown (she/her/hers)
I have been providing mental health services for over a decade with individuals across the lifespan. I earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) with a concentration in neuropsychology, as well as a Master of Arts (MA) degree from the Washington School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Seattle. I completed a predoctoral internship at the Fremont Community Therapy Project, along with a rotation at Ryther Child Care Center. I am a certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Provider after completing a year long program at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in Institute in partnership with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).
Throughout my training experiences, I have focused on working with people in integrative treatment settings and those exposed to traumatic events. In addition, I have spent my entire life around the medical and scientific community as a family member, patient, and now as a health care provider which has given me a unique perspective into the treatment of health conditions and trauma. My research on traumatic brain injury has been published, and I have presented my findings on posttraumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, and psychotherapy attrition at regional and state conferences.
